Tim Grotelueschen, ’94, lettered in cross-country and track for four seasons. He was a two-time conference champion in cross-country (1991, 1992) and qualified for the NCAA Division III nationals in 1992. His time of 25:13 is Concordia’s fastest five-mile time, and he owns three of the top eight fastest times. Grotelueschen also holds the school’s track record in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:24.

            
Grotelueschen was the 1994 recipient of the A.W. Gross Senior-Scholar award and also earned NIIC All-Scholastic honors in 1993.  He earned his B.A. degree in elementary education with a specialization in history, and he is now pursuing his master’s degree in information science from Wayne State University.
