He averaged 15.8 points per game for his career, and his 1,596 points put him at fourth place on the Cougars’ all-time scoring list through 2008. Highlights of Lowe’s playing career include winning the Northern Illinois-Intercollegiate Conference Most Valuable Player award in his senior year (1992-93), being named to the CIT All-Tournament team in both 1992 and 1993, leading the Cougars to both a conference and CIT championship in 1993, and scoring 45 points in a 1993 home game against Aurora, a figure that remains Concordia’s single-game scoring record.

Lowe has remained active in the sport of basketball, having coached over 10 years for the junior high team at River Roads Lutheran School in St. Louis. He has also volunteered much of his time for charitable causes involving the AIDS ride and multiple sclerosis.

Lowe earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Concordia. He has worked with Bank of America as a vice president of ATM network support. Currently, Lowe serves as a Project Manager with Wachovia Securities in St. Louis
