Alex (Pinotti) Masterson BA '10  earned her bachelor's degree in marketing from Concordia University Chicago in 2010. 

Masterson was a four year starter of the women's volleyball team during her time as a Cougar. From 2006-2010, Masterson appeared in 120 matches with 427 sets played and secured 1,066 total kills. She was a member of the NAC All-Rookie team in 2006 and was named first-team All-NAC in her final three years. She was one of a select few in Cougar history to surpass the thousand mark in kills (1,066) and digs (1,154).

Masterson was also a Northern Athletics Conference Scholar-Athlete and member of the Concordia Athletic Director's Honor Roll. She was the recipient of the 2010 A.W. Gross Award, presented to a student-athlete who demonstrates the highest standards in academic achievement, athletic proficiency, character and conduct, and athletic leadership. 

Masterson has her name written in the record books in more places than one as she currently sits seventh in career digs (1,154), third in career attack attempts (3,052), and fifth in total points (1,376.5) while holding the all-time record for career service aces (2 36).
