Chelsee Wilson BA '18 earned her bachelor's degree in communications from Concordia University Chicago in 2018.
From 2014-18, Wilson was a successful trailblazer in the track and field program. She set school history as the first athlete to qualify for nationals in four consecutive years. During her freshman campaign between the Indoor and Outdoor NACC Championship Meets, she had four second place and two third place finishes, qualifying for the Outdoor National Meet in the 200m. By her sophomore season, she had one third place, two second places, and her first career first place finish at the Indoor NACC Championship in the 200m event. During junior season, Wilson had five third place and two second place finishes, including the 100m, where she qualified for Outdoor Nationals for the first time. Senior season brought three second place and four first place finishes for a combined total of eight third place, eleven second place, and five first place finishes in Indoor and Outdoor NACC Championship.
By the end of her career in the maroon and gold, Wilson owned ten school records, two of which still stand today. The indoor records include SSm, 60m, 200m, 400m, and 4x400m relay and the outdoor records include 1 00m, 200m, 400m, 4x 1 00m relay, and 4x400m relay.
Wilson became an All-American in 2018 after her sixth place finish at nationals in the 4x400m relay which lead her to become the first NACC Woman of the Year in school history.
