Jacob Koehler BA ’13 earned his bachelor’s degree in Lutheran Elementary Education from Concordia University Chicago in 2013.
Koehler was a two-year quarterback starter and four-year member of the football time during his time as a Cougar. From the 2009-2012 seasons he totaled 5,026 total passing yards with 53 touchdowns and 1,454 total rushing yards with 18 touchdowns.
Koehler was a member of the Hall of Fame 2012 Cougar Football team that had the first undefeated season in program history. He was the 2012 Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) Offensive Player of the Year as well as a member of the CoSIDA Capital One First-Team Academic All-District team. During his time as a Cougar, Koehler was named NAC Offensive Player of the Week multiple times and has his name written in multiple top-ten records for the program, both career wise and single-season.
Koehler currently sits first in single-season total offense yards (3,414), touchdowns responsible for (34), total offense per game (310.4) and total offense per play (8.19). He currently sits second in career passing yards (5,026), passing touchdowns (53), total offense yards (6,480), and touchdowns responsible for (71) as well as single-season passing touchdowns (26), average yards per pass (9.5), average yards per completion (15.6), and touchdowns responsible for (33). In addition, Koehler has his name in the top ten for career rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, pass completions and touchdowns scored as well as single-season rushing touchdowns, pass attempts, pass completions, passing yards, pass completion percentage, pass efficiency, and passing yards per game.
