Mike Marotta BA ’10, competing for Cougar Football, this quarterback helped lead his team to increasing success on the field.
This four-year starter received numerous accolades for his contributions in Maroon and Gold. Following an impressive freshman campaign, Marotta earned All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Honorable Mention honors. He continued to excel on the field earning All-NACC First Team and NACC Co-Offensive Player of the Year as a junior and a senior. Marotta also played in the 2009 All-American Bowl in Minnesota.
At induction, Marotta holds 10 school records including touchdown passes in a game, passing yards, pass completions and touchdown passes for a season. His career records include total yards, passing yards, pass attempts, pass completions and touchdown passes. Along with his individual success, Marotta contributed to Concordia’s first winning season in more than two decades, 8-2 in 2009. His senior season team holds five school records and set the standard for future playoff success.
Marotta graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in secondary physical education and completed his Master's Degree in special education at University St. Francis in Joliet, IL.
