Martin Beckman BA '13 earned his bachelor's degree in elementary education from Concordia University Chicago in 2013.
Beckman was a four-year starter of the football team during his time as a Cougar. From 2009-2013, he totaled 267 total tackles, 19.5 sacks for a total of 157 yards, and tied a single-game record with four sacks for a total of 31-yards in losses.
Beckman was a member of the Hall of Fame 2012 Cougar Football team that had the first undefeated season in program history. He was a two-time athlete of the week for the Cougars and has his name written in multiple top-ten records for the program, both career wise and single-season.
Beckman's career records are eighth in total tackles (192), fifth in forced fumbles (6), and first in tackles for loss (51.0). His single-season records include ninth in tackles for loss (15.5), second in yards from sacks (62), second in quarterback hurries (7), first in yards from tackles for loss (79), and first in quarterback sacks in a game.
