KENOSHA, WIS.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track and field team competed in the Tadd Metzger Invite/Muti, hosted by Carthage College. The Cougars showcased their grit through picking up multiple personal records and top performances.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Izzy Fairless (Royal Oak, Mich.) finished third in the 600m with a time of 1:50.81 and secured fifth with a time of 5:43.26 in the mile run.
- Lydia Vonderhaar (Apple Valley, Minn.) finished fifth in the 55m with a time of 7.59.
- Madison Hipshire (Riverview, Mich.) placed fourth in the 400m with a new personal best time of 1:04.22.
- Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) finished eighth with a time of 28.29 in the 200m and secured top seven with a leap of 4.86m in long jump.
PERSONAL RECORDS
- Addi McKee picked up a new personal record in the 800m with a time of 2:40.20.
- Amya Marquez (Berwyn, Ill.) and Marlena Butler (Norridge, Ill.) set new personal records in the 800m with times of 2:56.12 and 3:03.57, respectively.
- Madalyn Smock (Poplar Grove, Ill.) picked up a new personal record with a throw of 10.09m in the weight throw.
