BOURBONNAIS, ILL.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track and field raced in the ONU Invitational, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University. The Cougars demonstrated their determination through picking up many personal records and performances.
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Izzy Fairless (Royal Oak, Mich.) earned a fourth-place finish in the 600m with a time of 1:48.15.
- Madison Hipshire (Riverview, Mich.) placed fifth over in the 200m, while setting a new personal record of 28.36.
- Noor Sammour (Berwyn, Ill.) secured third place in the triple jump with a season best leap of 9.28m.
- Lydia Vonderhaar (Apple Valley, Min.) set a new personal record in the 60m with a time of 8.26, placing fourth overall.
- Ashley Vasquez (Riverside, Ill.) finished fourth in the 200m with a time of 28.30.
- The 4x400m relay team of Hipshire, Vasquez, Fairless and Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) placed third overall with a time of 4:29.18.
PERSONAL RECORDS
- In the 200m, Addi McKee and Devynn Woywod (Berwyn, Ill.) posted personal records with times of 31.80 and 31.97, respectively.
- Rose Losey (Royal Oak, Mich.) picked up a new personal record of 12:17.27 in the 3000m.
- Amya Marquez (Berwyn, Ill.) set a new personal record with a time of 6:44.65 in the mile.
