RIVER FOREST, ILL. -- In his debut collegiate meet, freshman Jonathan Knoebel (New Albany, Ind.) showed up and showed out in the maroon and gold, picking up the first Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Track Athlete of the Week accolades for the season. 

Knoebel made his collegiate debut and broke the school record in the 600-meter dash with a time of 1:25.38 at the Olivet Nazarene Holiday Open, finishing two full seconds faster than the next runner. He also picked up a 24.16 time in the 200-meter dash.

Knoebel and the rest of the track and field team take a break over the holiday season and look to return with the same tenacity on January 10th when they compete at the Phoenix Invite. Coverage and updates can be found at cucougars.com/
