BOURBONNAIS, ILL.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field raced in the ONU Invitational, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University. The Cougars demonstrated their determination through picking up many personal records and strong performances.
NOTABLE PERFORMACES
- Korey Randle (East Moline, Ill.) secured first with a jump of 13.53m in the triple jump and finished sixth with a leap of 6.24 in long jump.
- Kamren Hannah (El Paso, Texas) placed fourth in the 200m with a time of 23.02. Hannah also finished seventh in the 60m with a time of 7.21.
- Gael Arroyo (Cicero, Ill.) finished eighth in the 1000m with a personal best time of 2:43.04.
- Julian Switzer (Lake in the Hills, Ill.) finished eighth in the long jump with a leap of 5.98m.
- Jonah Winkelman (Plano, Ill.) leapt 12.12m to claim sixth place in the triple jump.
- Dayton Merli (Union Mills, Ind.) secured a top five finish in the pole vault with a mark of 3.85m.
PERSONAL RECORDS
- William Leonard (Oskaloosa, Iowa) picked up a new personal record in the 1000m with a time of 2:54.91.
- Julien Saltos (Chicago, Ill.) set a new personal record in the mile with a time of 5:05.24.
- Nathaniel Hernandez (Harwood Heights, Ill.) recorded a personal best of 1:28.26 in the 600m and 24.71 in 200m.
- Tremain Dockery (Chicago, Ill.) added another personal record with a time of 24.00 in the 200m.
- Winkelman recorded a personal record of 26.52 in the 200m.
