ELMHURST, ILL. --- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team traveled to Elmhurst University today for the Elmhurst Twilight Invitational. With what was originally a two-day meet, all events ended up moved to today in order to combat the oncoming weather. With this, the Cougars were able to compete across the board in multiple events.
Cougar Personal Records:
- John Cano (North Riverside, Ill.) made a new time of 11.81 seconds in the 100-meter and 24.24 seconds in the 200-meter
- Picking up two PRs as well was Matthew Cardwell (Cincinnati, Ohio), who in the 400-meter ran a 52.66 and threw a 35.54m in the javelin
- In distance, Gael Arroyo (Cicero, Ill.) ran a new time in the 1500m with a 4:31.60 and William Leonard (Oskaloosa, Iowa) ran a new time in the 3000m with a 9:56.90
- Shot put had two new PRs for the Cougars: CJ Morris with a mark of 11.47m and Travon Thomas with a mark of 9.84m
