BOURBONNAIS, ILL. — Back-to-back weekends at Olivet Nazarene University (ONU) awaits the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team. Yesterday, the Cougars participated in the ONU Invite, with multiple athletes placing in different events.
Notable Performances

Two Cougars completed the highest finish on the day, Henry Jones IV (Atlanta, Ga.) placed fifth in the 60-meter dash with a new PR time of 7.08 seconds

Joining Jones was Austin Knight (Forest Park, Ill.) in the high jump with a fifth place finish

Miguel Sanchez (San Antonio, Texas) picked up a 10th place finish in the 200-meter with a PR time of 23.44 seconds

Also picking up a tenth place finish was Mauricio Xochitecatl (Carol Stream, IL) in the 600-meter, also snagging a PR time of 1:29.55

Finally, E'mareion Glover (Saint Petersburg, Fla.) also placed in the high jump with his teammate Knight, placing tenth overall

In the 60-meter, Xzavier Roman (Knox, Ind.) picked up a PR time of 7.15 seconds

Jayden Taylor (Southfield, Mich.) had two new PRs in his respective events. In the 200-meter with a time of 24.69 seconds and in the high jump with a mark of 5.88 meters

An additional two Cougars had PRs in the 200-meter, with Randy Contreras (San Antonio, Texas) at 25.01 seconds and Adrian Mendez (Plano, Ill.) at 25.52 seconds

Every single Cougar in the 600-meter picked up a new PR, Donovan Depakakibo (Norridge, Ill.) at 1:30.17, Kameron Jackson (Chicago, Ill.) at 1:37.00, and Mendez at 1:32.30

Gael Arroyo (Cicero, Ill.) joined Taylor with two new PRs, in the 800-meter with a time of 2:05.44 and in the mile with a time of 4:54.20

Alfredo Jaramillo-Ruiz (Lyons, Ill.) had an opening PR in the 800-meter at 2:48.58. Also in the 800-meter picking up a new time was Jazael Rodriguez (Berwyn, Ill.) at 2:50.09
