RIVER FOREST, ILL. — The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has officially released their 2023 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Awards. For the 2022-23 academic year, the Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's volleyball team was selected based on their excellence in the classroom.
To end the academic year, the women's volleyball team has accumulated the highest GPA in Cougar Athletics with a 3.59. The Cougars had a total of seven athletes who earned a 4.0 in one or both semesters. Additionally, 18 of these volleyball athletes earned Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Scholar-Athlete status and 15 earned CUC Dean's List honors.
