RIVER FOREST, Ill. — After battling through the tough COVID-19 impacted spring in 2021, the Concordia University Chicago men's lacrosse program looks to take a step forward in 2022. The Cougars have 16 games on the schedule for the 2022 season, including eight home matches inside Concordia Stadium. 

The first chance to see first-year head coach Scott Gywn's team will be February 22 at Monmouth. Four days later the Cougars hit the road again to take on Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. The CUC home opener comes just a few days later when Adrian College comes to River Forest on Wednesday, March 2.

In total, the Cougars will have four non-conference road contests, and four at home.

CUC opens Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) play on Saturday, April 2 at Marian. The Cougars conference home opener comes just three days later against Beloit.

The heart of the NACC schedule is on the road for CUC, with three straight road contests which include trips to Benedictine, Concordia University Wisconsin, and Illinois Tech between April 13-19. The Cougars then close out the regular season with home contests against Edgewood on April 23 and Aurora on April 27. 

The top four teams qualify for the 2022 NACC Men's Lacrosse Tournament, with the two top seeds hosting the semifinal round on Wednesday, May 4. The NACC championship comes three days later on Saturday, May 7.
