Box Score Up against the stout defense of the University of Dubuque (4-4), the Concordia University Chicago men's lacrosse team (2-6) were held in check offensively and fell 18-6 to the Spartans.
 
The visiting Spartans opened the game with two quick goals in the first four minutes and never looked back, led by sophomore forward Will Robinson with five goals in the game.
 
The Cougars were led offensively by sophomore midfielder Chadd Rowe (Atlanta, Ga.), who scored his seventh and eighth goals of the season. Sophomore attacker Jarred Tabor (Crystal Lake, Ill.), sophomore midfielder Dylan Mordhorst (Centreville, Va.), freshman midfielder Clayton Emery (Fishers, Ind.) and senior attacker Benjamin Lang (West Dundee, Ill.) also found the back of the net for the Cougars.
 
As usual, senior goalie Jack Liskey (Crown Point, Ind.) made plenty of saves, adding 23 to his career total which eclipsed 600 on Tuesday. Also on the defensive end, junior midfielder Branson Bonnell (South Bend, Ind.) and senior defender Isaac Strand (Mukwonago, Wis.) combined for 10 ground balls and four caused turnovers.
 
The Cougars are right back at Concordia Stadium this Friday for another home game to take on the Concordia University Wisconsin Falcons at 1 p.m.
