The Concordia University Chicago men's lacrosse team (1-3) will continue with another road game as they travel to North Central College on March 17 for a 7 p.m. game.
Â
This will be the third road game in a row for the Cougars, who have not secured a win since leaving River Forest, but not for a lack of trying. CUC lost their most recent game to NAIA opponent Taylor University, who grabbed a big lead in the second half. This resulted in a 12-4 loss for Concordia.
Â
Currently leading CUC this season on offense is sophomore
Dylan Mordhorst (Centreville, Va.), who has eight goals on the season so far. Also helping to contribute to the team's offensive efforts are senior
Benjamin Lang (West Dundee, Ill.), freshman
Clayton Emery (Fishers, Ind.) and freshman
Jacob Schnepf (Baltimore, Md.). All three of these players have five goals so far this year.
Â
Another big contributor for the Cougars comes on the defensive end with senior
Jack Liskey (Crown Point, Ind.). The goalie started every game in net this season, making 68 saves.
