Box Score The Concordia University Chicago women's lacrosse team (3-0) made it a perfect three out of three during their road trips to start the 2021 season with a dominating performance in Anderson, Ind. on Thursday night. The Cougars defeated the Anderson College Ravens (1-1) 17-4 in a game highlighted by several excellent individual offensive performances.

Rylee Orenstein (Walnut Creek, Calif.) led the way with six goals, bringing her personal season tally to 11. Freshman midfielder
Jessica Parker (Lake In The Hills, Ill.) and junior midfielder
Emily Cyrwus (Chicago, Ill.) each added three goals. Senior midfielder
Elizabeth Cyrwus (Chicago, Ill.) and sophomore attacker
Nina Naes (St. Louis, Mo.) each contributed two, and sophomore attacker
Grace Miller (Hoffman Estates, Ill) had one.

An equally-strong Cougar defense kept things quiet for sophomore goalie
Ryan McGee (Chicago, Ill.), who made three saves. McGee's season goals-against-average now stands at just 3.67.

The Cougars out-shot the Ravens 34-12 and converted eight of their 10 free position opportunities. They also maintained control of possession, winning 13 of 20 faceoffs and committing six fewer turnovers than the Ravens.
