WAUKESHA, Wis. -- With the announcement of the Midwest Lacrosse Conference's 2018-19 All-Academic team this morning, six members of the Concordia-Chicago men's lacrosse team saw their names added to the list of student-athletes who held a 3.30 grade point average or higher for the entire academic year.
Senior
Jordan Loeffler headlined the announcement, who was named to the All-Academic team for the fourth consecutive season, in addition to fellow classmate
Alex Pankey who earned the honor for the second straight year. Also earning All-Academic nods was junior
Benjamin Lang, sophomores
Brett Krueger and
Isaac Strand, as well as freshman
Bransen Bonnell.
"Out of all the accomplishments from this season, this is definitely at the top" said Head Coach
Brian Welch. "I'm really proud of what the guys have done this year. They bought into helping change our culture and academics is a big part of that, it is one of the biggest pillars of our program. I'm just very excited for them and all of the hard work they put in this year."
