WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Sophomore goalie
Jack Liskey was named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference's Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last weekend against Oglethorpe, the league announced Monday night.
Liskey's honor is the first time a Concordia-Chicago men's lacrosse player has earned Player of the Week accolades.Â
The Crown Point, Ind. native stopped 17 shots on Saturday against the Stormy Petrels and finished with a 65.4 save percentage. With his efforts in net, the Cougars forced Oglethorpe into overtime, the first ever overtime game for the program's history.
