It Feels Like the First Time... CUC will face a brand new program in Marian University tomorrow, with the Sabres beginning their inaugural season against the Cougars.
Fuller's Production... Senior
Sydney Fuller has been a steady hand for the CUC women's lacrosse program throughout her tenure. In the first two games of her final season, the Indiana native leads the team with eight points off seven assists and one goal. In her career, she currently has 68 assists and will look to beat her own record for most assists in a season, which she previously set in 2018 with 39.
Guess Who's Back... Despite completing her undergraduate degree last spring, graduate studentÂ
Anna Kellar returns to the field for the Cougars in 2019 for her final season of eligibility. In her tenure, the Collinsville, Ill. native has combined for 104 goals and currently holds the program record for career goals. A threat all across the field, Kellar has also won 103 draw controls for the maroon and gold, while causing 74 turnovers.Â
Allen's Bio Blast... While in his first season leading the CUC women's lacrosse program, Head CoachÂ
Russell Allen is entering his fifth year as head coach of a collegiate program. Previously, Allen led the Mavericks of Medaille College out of Buffalo, NY for the past four seasons. The Orange, Conn. native is coming off a Coach of the Year campaign and back-to-back regular season titles in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference.Â
