RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- In light of recent weather across the Midwest, the Concordia-Chicago men's basketball team will take on the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warriors tomorrow, in the team's first outing since the 68th Annual CIT.

Home Court Advantage... The Cougars play arguably their best basketball in front of their home crowd. With a 4-14 overall record on the year, CUC has won all four games inside Geiseman Gymnasium.
Last Meeting... The Warriors last met CUC back on Dec. 8 in Milwaukee, where WLC routed the Cougars 108-97. Collin Kennedy led the day for the Warriors, scoring 37 points off 14-19 shooting from the field. WLC led by as many as 27 points throughout the contest.
Scouting the Warriors... WLC is currently 8-11 on the season, with a 6-8 NACC conference record. Last time out, the Warriors fell just 77-72 to Aurora University, moving them into ninth place among the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference, just one seed above the Cougars. Warrior Collin Kennedy leads the conference in scoring, averaging 22.4 points per game and is shooting 49.8 percent on the season. 
Gentle Giant... Chicago native Landen Gladney has made his presence known across the country throughout his freshman year campaign. With the hot start to his college career, he has recorded double-digit rebounds in 16 games and has 15 double-doubles on the season. Combining for 33 points and 22 rebounds last weekend at CIT, Gladney is ranked third in the nation for total double-doubles and sixth for rebounds per game (12.7). He is also 10th in the country with 229 total boards, fifth for offensive rebounds per game (4.78) and 19th in defensive rebounds per game (7.94).
A Meeks Matter... As the team's third leading scorer, sophomore Jalen Meeks is a key part of the Cougars' lineup. Averaging 16.3 points per game, Meeks leads CUC in total steals with 32 as well as ranking second in the conference for averaging 2.0 steals per game. He is also second on the team in assists (26) and blocks (10).
Pelissier's Point... Former NACC Athlete of the Week and senior guard Mitch Pelissier has left his mark on the CUC basketball program, as he moved into third place on the Concordia-Chicago all-time scoring list last week, now with 1,672 career points. Averaging 21.8 points per game, he is currently second in the NACC and ranks 32nd nationally among Division III basketball.
