RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Looking to expand their now three-game win streak, the Concordia-Chicago women's soccer team will hit the road to Illinois Tech before hosting Wisconsin Lutheran College this week in NACC play.

Setting the Scene... Picking up three straight wins against Lakeland, Alverno and Marian, CUC will now travel to IIT tomorrow night before returning home for a Saturday tilt against WLC. The match against the Warriors will pair as Concordia's senior day, honoring

Last Time... Grabbing two wins last week, the Cougars trounced the Inferno of Alverno in a 10-0 midweek victory before knocking off Marian University 2-0 on Saturday.
Esmeralda Torres notched four goals in the contest against Alverno, while
Cecilia Kochanek scored the game-winning goal over the Sabres on the weekend.
Scarlet Hawk Scout... Last time the Cougars met IIT was one for the books, as CUC had defeated the then regionally-ranked Scarlet Hawks, 2-0, and handed IIT their first shutout loss of the season. Currently, IIT has not lost since Sept. 25, when they dropped a 1-0 match to CUC's neighborhood rival, Dominican University. The Scarlet Hawks are also on a two-game win streak, defeating Rockford and Wisconsin Lutheran after earning two 0-0 draws to MSOE and Benedictine in the week prior. Jamie Griggs leads the Scarlet Hawks with an impressive 11 goals and two assists (24 points) on the year to date.Â
All-time vs the Warriors... With a 4-9 overall record and 3-4 in NACC play, the Warriors are just 5-11-2 all-time when facing the Cougars. Having not beaten CUC since the 2008 season, WLC averages 2.62 goals per game while allowing an average of 3.92 goals per game. Kendra Schumacher leads her squad with 18 points off seven goals and four assists.
