June 11, 2014 – Twenty-three girls' high school soccer players from among the nearly 200 Lutheran high schools in the USA and Canada will receive the Lutheran All-American Association's (LAAA) First-Team All-American Award. Presented for the first time in 2014, this honor will be awarded annually to recognize the best players at their respective positions from their high school season and is sponsored by Concordia University Chicago Women's Soccer.
In all, 70 players across North America were named to the First-Team, Second-Team, Honorable Mention and Freshman Team High School All-American teams. At the end of the high school season, coaches and athletic directors nominate student-athletes with high athletic, academic, and spiritual integrity.
