Leroy Bridges (Chicago, IL) of the men’s track and field team is honored for April 10-16.

Bridges ran a 21.70 in the 200 meters at the Benedictine University Eagle Relays on April 15. His time is currently among the top 20 in the nation which would qualify him for the NCAA III nationals, and it is also within .03 seconds of the school record held by Merrell Davis. Bridges also ran a personal-best of 11.09 seconds in the 100-meter dash.

Bridges, the son of Leroy and Denise Bridges, is a 2012 graduate of Perspectives Charter High School in Chicago, IL. He is a junior psychology major.
