Cory Volkman (Milwaukee, WI) of the men’s indoor track team is honored for the week of Feb. 27-Mar. 4

Volkman recorded a personal best throw of 48’ 4” at the Last Chance Meet at North Central College Mar. 2, the senior’s final collegiate indoor meet. His throw bettered his previous best effort of 46’ 3 ¼” which was set Feb. 25 at the Northern Athletics Conference Indoor Championships.  
           
Volkman, the son of Dean and Julia Volkman, is a 2007 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He is a senior exercise science major.
