Josh Warren (Chicago, IL) of the men’s track and field team is honored for May 1-7.
Warren took part in two new school records at the NACC Outdoor Championships. He won the 800 meters with a time of 1:53.79, setting a new conference meet record and beating his previous record by about a tenth of a second. Warren was also part of the new conference-winning and school-record 4 x 400-meter relay team that finished with a 3:20.83, which beat the foursome’s previous standard by nearly three seconds.
Warren, the son of Gerald and Valerie Warren, is a 2013 graduate of Whitney Young High School in Chicago, IL. He is a senior exercise science major.
