Taylor Golden (Chicago, IL) of the softball team is honored for the week of March 5-11.

Golden hit .385 (5-13) with six runs and eight RBIs on the Cougar softball team’s six-game trip to California. She hit two homers in a March 9 game against Greensboro College, contributing in part to her slugging percentage of 1.000. Golden also reached base on four walks and was hit twice, putting her on-base percentage at .579.

Golden, the daughter of Ron and Kim Golden, is a 2010 graduate of Trinity High School in River Forest, Ill. She is a sophomore marketing major.
