Elmhurst, Ill.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) women's track and field team competed at the Chicagoland Outdoor Championship. The Cougars delivered an impressive showing, battling for the best of the best in Chicago.

NOTABLE PERFORMANCES
- Madalyn Smock (Poplar Grove, Ill.)Â placed 24th out of 45 athletes in the discus throw with a distance of 30.60m.
- Ashley Vasquez (Riverside, Ill.)Â took 41st in the 100m with a time of 13.43 out of 70 competitors.
- Danielle Giovenco (Hoffman Estates, Ill.)Â secured fourth in the 10000m with a time of 44:59.04.
- Aniyah Isom (Chicago, Ill.) finished 17th in the long jump with a leap of 4.90m.
- Kirsten Bockhorst (Union, Mo.) finished 25th with a leap of 4.68m in the long jump.

- Velda Ndang (Plainfield, Ill.)Â tied her personal best in the discus throw with a distance of 21.88m.
