Box Score 2 De Pere, Wis. - Due to a second postponement by the Alverno Inferno, the Cougars took their first game of the day as a win by default. The Cougars traveled to De Pere, Wisconsin to take on the St. Norbert Green Knights, where they fell 7-0.
Here's What Happened
Doubles
In doubles matches, none of the three Cougar pairings were able to win their matches. However each pair was able to score points, all pairs lost with a score of 6-1, with the exception of the duo of Amirah Shakir (Dekalb, Ill.) and Tatiana Overton (Bolingbrook, Ill.), who were able to score two points, but still ultimately lost, with a final score of 6-2.
Singles
All Cougars singles matches lost, but something to highlight was the fight Kamila Giza (East Dundee, Ill.) put up during her match. In both rounds, Giza was able to put up three points against her opponent. Unfortunately, she still fell with a final score of 6-3
The Cougars were unable to clench any wins in their matches against the St. Norbert Green Knights, but still fought hard throughout their respective matches. Due to the win by default, the Cougars went 1-1 on the day.
What's Next
