AURORA, ILL. --- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's track and field team went to Aurora to partake in the Aurora Grand Prix. The men tied for thirteenth place out of sixteen teams.

Notable Performances

• Freshman E'mareion Glover (Saint Petersburg, Fla.) finished with an impressive fourth place finish in the high jump with a score of 1.75m.
• Matthew Cardwell (Cincinnati, Ohio) competed in the triple jump finishing in seventh place.
• Both Glover and Cardwell individually were responsible for picking up seven of CUC's nine points.
• The final two points come from the 4x400 meter relay team of Cardwell, Miguel Sanchez (San Antonio, Texas), Austin Knight (Forest Park, Ill.) and Mauricio Xochitecatl (Carol Stream, IL) finished seventh timing in at 3:30:69.
• Gael Arroyo placed ninth in the 5000-meter with at time of 17:13:69.

Personal Records

• With a time of 7:33 in the 60-meter dash Xzavier Roman (Knox, Ind.) posts a new personal record (PR).
• Knight achieved a new PR in the 200-meter with a time of 23:32.
• Kameron Jackson (Chicago, Ill.) in the 400-meter finished with a time of 56:54, creating a new PR for himself.
• The 800-meter saw Gus Strenge (Battle Creek, MI) establish a new PR at 2:18:21, along with Jazael Rodriguez (Berwyn, Ill.) at 2:51:81.
• Arroyo's 17:13:69 earned himself a new PR in the 5000-meter.
• Not only did Glover's performance in the high jump earn him fourth place, but also a new PR at 1.75m.
• Cardwell's triple jump performance of 12.46m helped set him a new PR.
