CUC Tennis Closes Out 2022 Season

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 RIVER FOREST, Ill. ---  The Concordia University Chicago men's tennis team closed out their season this week, competing in two non-conference matches. The first against Wheaton College on Monday night, the second on Wednesday afternoon at Elmhurst. The upstart Cougars put their best foot forward in both matches but fell to both opponents 9-0.

In the first match of the week against Wheaton, the lone cougar to with a game was senior Peter Rios at number one singles.

On Wednesday afternoon against Elmhurst, it was Rios and Josh Wright who were able to win two games at number one doubles. In singles play, Rios was able to win two games in the first set. Wright had the closest match at number four singles, where he lost 6-2, 6-2.
