RIVER FOREST, ILL.- The Concordia University Chicago (CUC) men's tennis team faced off against St. Norbert College for senior night but suffered a 7-0 loss in a competitive matchup with the Green Knights.
Before the match, the Cougars honored their six seniorsÂ

Diego Loveshe (Franklin Park, Ill.),Â
Kyle Pelzek (Hales Corners, Wis.), and
Nathan Stringer (Milwaukee, Wis.).
DOUBLES
- Despite winning just one out of three matches, the Cougars fell into an early deficit against the Green Knights.
- Andres Villagran (El Paso, Texas) and Sam Smith (Munster, Ind.) were defeated 6-1 in the No.1 match.
- Demonstrating strong team chemistry, Bullens and Pelzek battled closely and secured a 7-5 win in the No.2 match.
- In the No.3 match, August Barnes (Sodus, Mich.) and Gustafson managed to put a couple points on the board but fell 6-2.

SINGLES
- The Green Knights dominated the Cougars, winning all six matches.
- Leal dropped the No.1 match 6-0, 6-1.
- In the No.2 singles match, Smith showcased strong efforts but fell 6-3, 6-0.
- Villagran and Barnes were both shut out in straight sets, 6-0.
- Bullens battled a tight first set but ultimately lost 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4 singles.
- Loveshe fought hard but came up short, losing both sets 7-5.
