Women's tennis takes sets in loss to MSOE

The Concordia University Chicago women's tennis team lost 9-0 to MSOE.

Box Score Milwaukee, Wis. -- The Concordia University Chicago women's tennis team took on Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they demonstrated great effort despite falling 9-0. 
 
In her tennis debut, sophomore Mackenzie Straulin (Johnsburg, Ill.) won two games in singles competition. Chicago native Ali Wingood split the first two sets (losing 6-1, winning 3-6), but lost the third 10-4. 
 
In doubles action, Wingood and Natalie Jensen (North Riverside, Ill.) fought hard, ending in a 8-2 loss. 
 
The women will host a match at home tomorrow, Sept. 19, for the first time since October 12, 2019, as they take on Concordia University Wisconsin. Competition is set to start at 12:30 p.m.
