The Concordia University Chicago men's volleyball team (2-4) played in their second game in a row against the Dominican University Stars (8-1). The Cougars found themselves in a similar situation as their first match, with the Stars sweeping CUC in three.
During all three sets, the Stars had control of the game. The Cougars tried to fight Dominican in all three sets, but their attempts were unsuccessful. This resulted in 25-11, 25-16 and 25-13 losses.
A mix of players helped the team's offense today, helping the Cougars record 18 kills. They also registered a team-total 18 digs.
The men's volleyball team will be back in action again on Friday, March 12, as they travel to Marian University. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m. A live stream can be found at the Marian Athletics website.
