Box Score The Concordia University Chicago men's volleyball team (2-3) played in another home contest against the No. 10 Dominican University Stars (6-1). The two teams battled throughout the four sets, but it ultimately resulted in a 3-1 loss for CUC.

The first set is where the Cougars found their success. They pulled ahead from the Stars and didn't let them back into the game, winning 25-21. In the second and third sets, Concordia went into a lull as they struggled to execute plays, which caused those set to end 25-18 and 25-14 in favor of the Stars. The fourth and final set started with Dominican earning the early lead. The Cougars fought back, but it wasn't enough to get them back into the game. Concordia lost the fourth 25-19.

Leading the Cougars' offense was sophomore
Luke Vozenilek (Westmont, Ill.) The outside hitter recorded 14 kills on the night while also registering five digs. Also helping in the front row was junior
Virgilio Rodriguez (Cicero, Ill.), who added 11 kills from the pin along with five digs and one solo block. In the middle,
Ryan Felbinger (Cicero, Ill.) made his presence known towards the end of the match as he hit .500 (6 kills, 1 error, 10 attempts).

Making the plays on offense was senior
Trent Weber (Carol Stream, Ill.). The setter contributed 32 assists for the team while also registering a team-high 13 digs in the backrow.

The Cougars will have the weekend off before hitting the court again on Tuesday, March 9. They will take part in the Division Street Rivalry again, but this time, they will travel to the Stars' home court. First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m.
