Points on the Line at CUW

RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- The Cougars will head to Mequon, Wis. tomorrow morning to take on NACC rival, Concordia Wisconsin at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out: The Cougar women are coming off a tough 2-0 loss to River Forest rival, Dominican University earlier this week. Despite earning regional ranking votes, CUC kept the game scoreless with the Stars until the 77th minute of play. 

Looming Contention: Concordia-Chicago currently sits fifth in the conference standings. In order to qualify for the NACC tournament, the Cougars must remain among the top six teams. Concordia Wisconsin currently sits in fourth place in the NACC standings. The Falcons have already clinched a spot in the NACC Tournament, and with a win, CUW can secure a home game for the NACC Quarterfinals. 

Scouting the Falcons: CUW is 8-9 overall on the season, with a strong 6-3 conference record. Leading scorers Alexandra Tomich and Isabel Downs have 12 and nine goals this season, respectively. 

All-Time vs. CUW: The Cougars have beaten their rival just once in the all time series with the Falcons. Holding the advantage at 13-1-1, CUW lost to CUC in 2016, 4-0.
