Box Score Sept. 24, 2014 – The Concordia University Chicago women's soccer team hosted Aurora University on Wednesday. The six-time defending Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference champions got off to a fast start, building a 5-0 first-half lead and eventually winning by a score of 7-0.
NACC leading score Nicci Bermudes entered the match having scored eight goals over her previous three outings, and Bermudes tallied four against the Cougars. Bermudes opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a rocket from the right wing. She scored two more goals before halftime and closed the scoring in the 61st minute.

Callie Hasselbring (Houston, TX/Cypress Ridge) and
Ally Krajnak (Griffith, IN/H.S.)Â were kept busy, combining for seven saves. The Spartans outshot the Cougars by a 21-3 count with
Hillary Campbell's (Dyer, IN/Lake Central) shot on target marking CUC's best scoring opportunity.
The Cougars next game is on Saturday as they travel to Milwaukee to face the Milwaukee School of Engineering at 1 p.m.
