Amanda Allen (Deerfield, Wis.) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Sept. 6-12.

           

Allen provided the strength at the net for the Cougars’ volleyball team in five matches last week. The 6’2” middle blocker recorded 60 kills and hit .341, highlighted by an 11-kill, .588 effort in Concordia’s Sept. 8 win against North Park. Allen added five solo blocks, 12 block assists and seven serving aces. For the season, she is averaging 2.22 kills and 0.85 blocks per set.

           

Allen, the daughter of Dave and Cindy Allen, is a 2008 graduate of Deerfield High School. She is a junior exercise science major.
