Brent Spohr (Ingleside, IL) of the baseball team is honored for April 17-23
.
Spohr powered the baseball team to a 5-1 week, hitting .391 on 9-23 with three runs and seven RBIs. Seven of Spohr’s nine hits were doubles, and he hit his team-leading fifth homer of the season against Dominican University on April 23. Spohr is currently on an eight-game hitting streak with 12 hits, 10 of them for extra bases.

Spohr, the son of Jim and Jacque Spohr, is a 2013 graduate of Grant Community High School in Fox Lake, IL. He is a senior exercise science major.
