Chelsee Wilson (Shawneetown, IL) of the women’s indoor track and field team are honored for Feb. 20-26.
Wilson competed in four events (three individual) and earned team points in every one. She broke her school records in the 55 meters (7.31 in the preliminaries, 7.44 and a second-place finish in the finals), and a 59.42 in the 400 (third place), breaking her previous record of 59.76. Wilson also finished third in the 200 with a 25.81 and helped the 4 x 400-meter relay team to a sixth-place finish at 4:26.12.
Wilson, the daughter of Iles and Kristen Fort, is a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School on Grayslake, IL. She is a junior with a double major of communications and graphic design.
