Sarah Potter (Woodlan, Ind.) of the volleyball team is honored for the week of Oct. 3-9.
           
Potter led the Cougars to a 3-1 record for the week with strong all-around play. She recorded a team-high 42 kills including a 14-kill effort with a .448 attack in an Oct. 7 win over North Park University. Potter contributed to an Oct. 8 win over Lakeland College with seven serving aces and five total blocks (one solo). For the week, Potter hit .260 while totaling 11 aces and nine blocks.
           
Potter, the daughter of Gary and Mary Potter, is a 2008 graduate of Woodlan High School in Woodburn, Ind. She is a senior Lutheran elementary education major.
