Courtney Lofink (Orange, CA) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of Nov. 16-22.
After leading the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference last season with 83 steals, Lofink set CUC’s single-game record with 11 in the Cougars’ 69-53 win over Blackburn College on Nov. 21. Lofink also added five assists in the Cougars’ winning effort. “We are expecting great things from Courtney in her second year, and it was exciting to see her start the new season with a game like this,” said CUC head coach Rusty Rogers. “We’re looking forward to seeing the continued improvement of not only her overall game but also her ability to be a floor leader.”
Lofink, the daughter of Mark and Karen Lofink, is a 2014 graduate of Orange Lutheran High School in Orange, CA. She is a sophomore elementary education major.
