Chelsee Wilson (Round Lake Beach, IL) of the women’s track and field team is honored for the period of Jan. 25-31.
Wilson turned in two strong outings at Illinois Wesleyan University’s Titan Open on Jan. 30. She finished the 200-meter run in 26.67 seconds, coming in fourth place out of 28 runners and first among the non-Division I runners. Wilson also ran the 60-meter dash in 8.17 seconds, just a fraction off last year’s school-record time of 8.10.
Wilson, the daughter of Isles and Kristen Fort, is a 2014 graduate of Grayslake North High School in Grayslake, IL. She is a sophomore with a double major in communications and graphic design.
