Cam Stephens (Rosemont, Ill.) of the baseball team is honored for the week of May 9-15.

Stephens hit .476 (10-21) over the final week of the season for the Cougars. He scored four runs and drove in seven, two on a homerun in a conference tournament win against Concordia Wisconsin. Stephens led the team through the 45-game season with a .453 batting average and a .691 slugging percentage.

Stephens, the son of Scott and Karen Stephens, is a 2008 graduate of East Leyden High School in Franklin Park, Ill. He is a junior in Concordia’s secondary education program with a physical education major.
