Chip Wylie (Milwaukee, Wis.) of the men’s track team is honored for the week of Nov. 29-Dec. 5.

            
Wylie set a new school record in the 35-lb. weight throw, with his effort of 45’ 0 ½” surpassing his previous record by a foot. The Cougars’ co-captain also threw 36’ 9 ¾” in the shot put, finishing 18^th out of 41 throwers, many of them Division I athletes.

Wylie, the son of Cathy Sandow, is a 2007 graduate of Milwaukee Lutheran High School. He is a senior psychology major.
