Marche Smith (Oak Park, Ill.) of the women’s basketball team is honored for the week of

Nov. 15-21.

           

Smith poured in 25 points as the Cougar women soundly defeated Mount Mary College 86-55 in the Nov. 20 season opener. The 5’7” guard hit 10 of 15 shots from the field including a sizzling 5-6 from three-point range. Smith added eight rebounds (six on the offensive glass), four assists, a block and two steals while playing just 25 minutes.

           

Smith, the daughter of Charles Bolden and Charlette Smith, is a 2007 graduate of Trinity High School in River Forest, Illinois. She is a senior sports management major.
