Megan White (Oak Park, Ill.) of the softball team is honored for the week of April 4-10.

White batted .462 in six games for the softball team last week. Five of White’s six hits went for extra bases (two doubles and three homers) and gave the second baseman a slugging percentage of 1.308. White homered in both ends of the Cougars’ April 5 doubleheader sweep at Wisconsin Lutheran College, and she leads the team with four homers on the season.

White, the daughter of Mike and Barb White, is a 2009 graduate of Oak Park-River Forest High School. She is a sophomore special education major.
