Janeen Corbin (Aurora, Ill.) is honored for the week of March 28-April 3.

 

Corbin won the women’s long jump at the Haydon Invitational with a season-best mark of 17’ 1 ½”. Her winning effort is the second-best in Concordia’s history. Corbin also climbed into the top three for Concordia’s all-time 100-meter dash with a time of 13.25 seconds, good for a fourth-place finish.

Corbin, the daughter of David and Verna Corbin, is a 2006 graduate of Aurora Christian High School. She is a senior early childhood education major.
