Anthony Collaro (Melrose Park, Ill.) of the baseball team is honored for the week of March 14-20.

Collaro pitched five stellar innings of relief and earned the win in Concordia’s 5-2 win over Wartburg College. He took the mound in the fifth inning after the game had been suspended from the previous night and completed the game with seven strikeouts among the 19 batters he faced. Collaro is now 2-0 on the season with a 2.92 earned run average in 12 1/3 innings pitched.

Collaro, the son of Darrell and Anne Farmer, is a 2007 graduate of Walther Lutheran High School. He is a senior with a double major of law and justice, and psychology.
